Tashkent: In accordance with the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Statutes (Edition 2019), the CAFA today confirms the final list of candidates who will stand for election for the term 2019-2023 at the 4th CAFA Congress in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on April 24, 2019.

On March 25, 2019, the Member Associations were notified that the election for members of the CAFA Executive Committee (term 2019-2023) would be held at the 4th CAFA Congress.

Member Associations were given until midnight (Tashkent time) on April 4 2019 to submit their nominations as per the requirement set out in the CAFA Statutes (Edition 2019) for the following positions:

1. CAFA President;
2. Two CAFA Vice Presidents;
3. Three CAFA Executive Committee Members;

The candidates below submitted their applications for election in line with Articles 22 and 29 of the CAFA Statutes (Edition 2019) and within the deadline set. All applications were submitted as per the requirements set out in the CAFA Statutes (Edition 2019).

The CAFA Legal Committee Committee will be responsible for all tasks relating to the organisation, running and supervision of the elections.
