New competition venues for the CAFA Competitions are ratified by Executive Committee

3rd CAFA Competitions Committee Meeting has been convened on 27 December 2021 via teleconference. One of the matters for the decision was  Venues of CAFA Competition. Concerning that, Tajikistan Football Federation submitted its intention to host all CAFA Competitions in 2022 while Kyrgyz Football Union submitted an intention to host CAFA U-19 Futsal Championship 2022.

Given all information provided, CAFA Competitions Committee chaired by Mr. Dastanbek Konokbaev, has adopted below main decisions, which were subsequently ratified by the CAFA Executive Committee on 3 January 2022:

1. Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic has been approved as the host venue of the CAFA U-19 Futsal Championship 2022 to be held from 9 to 18 February 2022;

2. Dushanbe, Tajikistan has been approved as the host venue of the CAFA U-18 Women’s Championship 2022 to be held from 9 to 18 March 2022

3. The Committee has approved the extension of the deadline for submission of the CAFA Competitions Host Intention Forms by the Member Associations until 25 January 2022

In the meeting, all members agreed that it would be a good idea to diversify hosting opportunities, which will contribute to the development of all member associations.
