Uzbekistan powered their way to the top of the standings in the inaugural 2018 CAFA Women’s Championship on Friday.
Matchday One saw hosts Uzbekistan overwhelm Afghanistan 20-0 while saw Tajikistan registered a 1-0 victory against Kyrgyz Republic at the Milliy Stadium in Tashkent.
Robert Gai’s charges followed up with a 11-0 rout of Tajikistan on Matchday Two, Sunday, while Islamic Republic of Iran cruised past Afghanistan 6-0.
Iran are second in the standings ahead of Tajikistan, who are also on three points, followed by Kyrgyz Republic and Afghanistan who are still chasing their first points.
Matchday Three will see Iran take on Uzbekistan, while Kyrgyz Republic will be looking to register their first win against Afghanistan on Tuesday.
