Successful Conclusion of CAFA U18 Women’s Championship 2025

The CAFA U18 Women’s Championship 2025 was successfully concluded, marking an important milestone in the development and promotion of women’s football across the Central Asian region, and officially closing CAFA’s competition calendar for 2025. The tournament served as a high-quality competitive platform aimed at enhancing player development, strengthening national teams, and supporting long-term strategic preparation for continental and global competitions.

The championship was organized from 22 to 29 November 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, featuring five national teams: Uzbekistan (host), Islamic Republic of Iran, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. The competition was played in a single round-robin format, with a total of 10 matches, allowing each team to play four matches and gain valuable international experience.

All matches were hosted at the modern UFA Football Center, which provided excellent playing and organizational conditions. The venue created a professional environment that enabled young players to compete at a high level and demonstrate their technical, tactical, and mental qualities.

Throughout the tournament, spectators witnessed 21 goals, competitive matches, and strong emotions on the pitch, reflecting the growing quality and intensity of women’s football in the region. The championship not only focused on results but also emphasized learning, growth, and performance improvement.

A key added value of the tournament was the partnership with SOTA Sports, which provided detailed match statistics and individual performance data for each game. These insights offered valuable analytical tools to assess performances, support player development, and improve future preparation.

Following the completion of all matches, Uzbekistan emerged as the champions of the CAFA U18 Women’s Championship 2025. The Kyrgyz Republic secured second place, while I.R. Iran finished in third place, highlighting the competitive balance among the participating teams.

All matches were live-streamed on the official CAFA YouTube channel, allowing supporters, families, and football stakeholders to follow the tournament closely. The championship generated millions of views and  digital engagement, significantly increasing exposure for young female talents and contributing to the visibility and popularity of women’s football in Central Asia.

As an official member of Football for the Goals, CAFA reaffirms its commitment to promoting football values and contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
