Tajikistan, 28 MAY 2023 – Central Asian Football Association is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the CAFA U20 Championship 2023 , which took place over the past 10 Days.

The tournament featured 5 teams from member associations of Central Asian Football Association with single round robin format comprising of 10 matches in total, competing in a series of matches to determine the ultimate champion. The competition was exciting, with lots of exciting moments that kept the followers and fans on the edge of their seats.

After several rounds of matches in Talco Arena of Tursunzade city and CSKA stadium in Dushanbe city, the Uzbekistan youth national team emerged as the champions of the tournament. They played with great skill and determination. The runners-up, youth players of I.R. IRAN also put up a strong fight, however fell short in the match against Afghanistan. Third place was taken by host team of Tajikistan.

Throughout the tournament, the players displayed an impressive level of skill, sportsmanship and passion. The event was also a great showcase for the sport, attracting a large and enthusiastic crowd of spectators in the city of Tursunzade.

Vice-President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Mr.Dilshod Jurazoda and General Secretary of the Central Asian Football Association Mr. Ulugbek Karimov took part in the awards ceremony for the winners and individual award winners of the Championship.
