2nd Meeting of the CAFA Executive Committee for the term 2023-2027 has been convened on 31 August 2023 via video-conference with discussions and decisions taken for the advancement of the goals and objectives of CAFA.

Meeting have started with information about Standing committees and Educational Activities starting from January 2023 with total organized of 1 seminar and 3 webinars within implementation of refereeing development initiatives in the region as of 31 August 2023. Moreover information regarding competitions from the beginning of 2023 was shared. In general 4 football and 2 futsal competitions have been organized by CAFA in various age categories including Historic CAFA Nations CUP 2023.

Members of the Committee unanimously approved Ms. Yuliya Panina from Uzbekistan FA to fill the position of Female Executive Committee member until the next Congress.

Turning their attention to competitions, the CAFA Executive Committee unanimously approved matters related to Historic CAFA nations Cup 2023 which was held from 10 to 20 June 2023. Moreover Executive Committee approved CAFA Competitions calendar 2024 which is in accordance with FIFA Forward Development Programme 3 regulations. Furthermore, proposed by CAFA administration to organize commercial competitions in order to develop men’s futsal in the region was also approved by CAFA Executive Committee.
