7th CAFA Congress was held virtually on Wednesday, 25 May with agenda including General Secretary’s Report on CAFA activities during current year of 2022.
First Vice President Dastanbek Konokbaev welcomed all representatives of Member Federations with an address, thanking everyone involved in the organization of CAFA activities and expressed his sincere regard to the Member Associations for their dedication.
“2022 would be remarkable for both the region and the organization. I wish Islamic Republic of Iran team the best of success during the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and I hope that each CAFA Member Association would be represented by its team at the AFC Asian Cup 2023. With regards to competitions we are doing great job, CAFA had planned to organize eight competitions, four of which have already been completed which can be treated as a truly inspirational result.”
The formal proceedings began with the roll call of the CAFA Members Federations, followed by the CAFA activity report and approval of statement of accounts and auditor’s report for the year ended 31 December which was unanimously approved by Congress delegates.
