The Committee Chairperson Mr. Dastanbek KONOKBAEV congratulated members with the first meeting of the committee and highlighted the importance of the development of football in the region and thanked the CAFA Administration and Tajikistan Football Federation for the successful delivery of CAFA U20 and U17 Women’s Championship 2021. During the meeting, it was agreed that new dates and host country for the below CAFA competitions will be as follows:

In addition to the above information, All India Football Federation officially expressed its intention to participate in CAFA competitions. The committee also agreed to include AIFF in CAFA competitions starting from 2022 with potential consideration of the participation of the AIFF youth national teams to be included in CAFA competitions this year as well.
The CAFA executive Committee subsequently ratified the above-mentioned decisions on 30 August 2021
