As part of the implementation of the CAFA’s Refereeing Development Initiatives aimed at the capacity building measures, today, СAFA organized the first ever in history CAFA Assistant Referees Webinar  on 12 May 2023.

A total of 64 participants from all 6 CAFA member associations attended the one-day webinar, which aimed to update and assess their knowledge on the latest Laws of the Game and instill the need for continuous improvement to meet the highest standards.

During the webinar, assistant referees involved in active discussions about topics such as offside, challenges, penalty area incidents, handballs and tactical fouls. The Webinar was conducted by two experienced instructors: main Instructor Mr. Vladislav Tseytlin from Uzbekistan and Instructor Mrs. Masoumeh Shakouri from I.R. Iran.
