In line with CAFA’s commitment to develop and promote children safeguarding in central asian region, Children Safeguarding Seminar was organized by Central Asian Football Confederation with support from Asian Football Confederation in capital city of Tajikistan.
The seminar is aimed at ensuring that participants from CAFA member associations gain insight and vision on how to safeguard children in sports in general and football in particular. During two intensive days, 5 Child Safeguarding officers representing Member Associations and CAFA staff were taught on the best practices to record and approach child abuse while learning the importance of child safeguarding and ensuring a secure environment for all football activities.

Additionally I want to personally thank child safeguarding expert Mr. John Harris and AFC Senior Manager at the Social Responsibility Department Mr. Neil Sta Maria for their contribution and sharing experience and expertise within Child Safeguarding area, moreover we are grateful for Child safeguarding officers for their active and interactive participation”
