His Excellency Rustam Emomlia will serve a second term as CAFA President after being re-elected unopposed to lead Central Asian Football Association for another four years, during the 8th Congress in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Rustam Emomali conveyed his appreciation to the leaders of the football federations of the countries that are part of CAFA for their trust, and stated that the further development of football in the region would continue through joint efforts.
The Congress was attended by distinguished guests, FIFA President — Mr. Gianni Infantino and the AFC President — His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim al Khalifa.
“Central Asian Regional association is pretty young association, when we were back in years there we were feeling to create regional association is right thing to do. The last 4 years under your leadership, there are clear progress in terms of incredible numerous amount of development activates throught region. Congratulations of being re-elected as a President of CAFA which is clear testimony of fantastic job that you have been doing for the last 4 years. We want to see more football more competitions in this region, we are looking forward to see successful CAFA Nations CUP which will be in this summer, once again Mr. President Congratulations for your fantastic job and initiatives in the region!” FIFA President Gianni Infantino

CAFA Executive Committee Member — Mr. Hedayat Mombeni (Islamic Republic of Iran)
CAFA Female Executive Committee Member — None
The aproval of the statement of accounts and the Auditors Reports, CAFA activity reports under FIFA Forward and AFC Enhance programs were also approved.
