The CAFA U20 Championship 2025, held from 10 to 17 June across the cities of Tursunzade and Hisor, Tajikistan, has successfully concluded, reaffirming Central Asia’s commitment to youth football development and international competitiveness.
With a total of 9 matches played in a compact and effective group stage and finals format, the competition offered each of the six participating teams the chance to play three matches, ensuring meaningful match exposure and preparation ahead of the AFC and FIFA qualification stages.
The tournament showcased 20 goals, football communities across the region. All matches were broadcast LIVE on the CAFA YouTube channel, where global viewers could witness the talents and competitive spirit of Central Asia’s future stars. Every match featured Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, elevating the professionalism and fairness of the tournament.
This year’s championship was not only a platform for players but also a significant learning ground for coaches and referees, contributing to the broader development of football infrastructure in the region. Matches were highly competitive, with each team featuring standout performances and promising prospects.
