Tuesday 27 April 2021, CAFA’s inaugural educational webinar was organized with full house participation from CAFA’s six affiliated member associations. The webinar titled “Returning to Football — Health Protocols and readiness to embrace new challenges: COVID – 19 and beyond” was aimed at raising participants’ awareness of COVID-19, precautionary measures and significance of vaccination.

Each CAFA member association was represented by three medical doctors who benefitted from tailor-made topics meticulously selected by the speakers to meet the targeted needs.

CAFA’s maiden webinar was glorified by presence of elite experts from AFC: Dato’ Dr. Gurcharan Singh – Chairperson, AFC Medical Committee, Dr. Arya Roy – AFC Medical Officer as well as Mrs. Edna Carpio – Executive, AFC Sport Medicine Unit.

Several other education programmes in various other topics will be held by the Central Asian Football Association throughout 2021.
